Attribute Code Assignment

• EACs and the corresponding attribute labels and definitions not defined in this International Standard are reserved for future standardization or for registration. 

• EACs in the range nnnn (fill in largest number used now) to 5 000 are reserved for future standardization.

• EACs greater than 5 000 are reserved for registration.

• EACs less than or equal to zero shall not be used.

• Example:

• ANSI C Language Binding:
  • Prefix Label with “EDCS_AC_”
  • E.g., define EDCS_AC_ANGLE_AZIMUTH_RADIANCE_LOCAL_NORMALas constant with integer value 1
