SI “Associated” Units

• Certain units are not part of the International System of Units; that is, they are outside the SI, but are important and widely used. The units in this category that are accepted for use with the SI are as follows:

• When these are used in the SDCS, we refer to them as SI associated units.

• Although not SI-compliant, their use is acceptable.
